At the moment of writing this tutorial the free version is v16.05. Installing using the 元DT installer is easy, not much more to say about it.
Do not use it, use Mikero Tools pboProject instead (we'll cover this in Binarization part). Experienced community members jokingly have named Addon Builder a “Addon Breaker”. Note: Addon Builder should not be used to binarize and pack your addon because it does not work properly, it has problems binarizing RVMAT files and textures used from configs. 元DT is used in this tutorial to create three different sets of files (more about it later).
